**Planning Applications Update for Belleville**
Belleville's urban landscape is witnessing some transformative changes. Here's a snapshot of recent planning applications:
**25 Campbell Street** has teamed up with Fotenn Planning + Design for a proposal to rezone and construct a nine-storey mixed-use building. This project brings together residential and commercial spaces, aiming for a holistic urban development.
**363 Front Street** is undergoing changes too. Andrei Pershin from Cento Commercial Inc. has applied to rezone the property. The plan is to metamorphose the ground floor into residential space while preserving the commercial unit facing Front Street.
**Hanley Park North Subdivision** saw a proposal revision by Macauley Shiomi Howson Ltd. The initial plan was for a residential subdivision comprising 156 dwelling units. However, the revised proposal now indicates 103 dwelling units. It’s a testament to the evolving nature of urban planning, ensuring optimized land use.
**174 Maitland Drive**, in partnership with 2777302 Ontario Inc., aims to amend the Official Plan and Zoning Bylaw. The goal? To construct a blend of residential units and open spaces, adding more diversity to Belleville's residential areas.
In addition to these major applications, Belleville's planning department has also received minor variance applications for properties located at 225 MacDonald Avenue, 53 Bryant Crescent, 94 Emily Street, and 201 & 209 Cannifton Road North. These applications encompass a range of proposals, including the addition of accessory dwelling units and detached garages.
Lastly, consent applications for properties at 152 & 150 Dufferin Avenue, 273-275 Albert Street, and 1497 Harmony Road were noted. The proposals mainly focus on infill residential lots and severing existing dwellings, further diversifying Belleville's housing options.
